Four ways to work together, with prices up front. If none of them fits, write anyway; most projects end up as one of these with a small twist.

Prices exclude 21% Dutch VAT. Nonprofits and one-person businesses get 20% off; just mention it when you write. Reverse-charge VAT applies to business clients elsewhere in the EU.
How a website project runs
Listen
A kick-off call, a look at what you have, and short conversations with three or four of your customers.
Sketch
A site map and rough page layouts with real headings. You comment directly on the files.
Design and build
Usually weeks three to six: full designs, built straight into your CMS as I go, tested on phones throughout.
Hand over
Training, a short guide in your own words, and thirty days of fixes included.
Terms, briefly
- Fixed-price projects: 40% to book the slot, 60% on handover.
- Day-rate work is invoiced monthly. All invoices are due within 14 days.
- You own everything I make for you once the final invoice is paid. I may show the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise.
- If you need to move your start date, I’ll hold it free of charge once, with at least two weeks’ notice.
Questions
Do you write the copy too?
I write the interface text (buttons, forms, errors, navigation) and give direction for longer copy. For a whole website’s worth of copy I can bring in a copywriter I trust, quoted separately.
Can you build the site, or only design it?
For websites, yes: I build in a couple of popular hosted website builders and in a headless CMS when a developer sets up the front end. For products, I hand over to your developers and stay available for questions.
Do you work with clients outside the Netherlands?
About a third of my clients are elsewhere in Europe. Everything works remotely; I travel for kick-offs when it’s useful and the train goes there.
What if we only have a small budget?
Start with a design audit. It’s the cheapest way to find out which three changes would make the biggest difference, and plenty of teams make them on their own.
When can you start?
I’m booked until the end of January. Two project slots are open from February 2027; the earliest is Monday 1 February.
